Goals and Scouting Go Hand in Hand

This young man set some goals three years ago.  When he was an 11 year old scout he determined he wanted to earn his Eagle Scout before he turned 14. He worked hard and kept checking his goals and setting new goals.  Last week he was able to be honored for his hard work.  Clark Smith of Kaysville was able to sit in the Eagles nest along with those great men and boys who had had similar goals.

Clark also was able to have a visit from the aviary with a special guest. This stunning national bird put on quite a show.

Scouting allows boys to become men and gain confidence in their abilities along the way.  Many young men enjoy the Scouting challenges and all they have to offer. Providing such a wonderful program for boys is so enjoyable. Giving back and watching young men make and achieve goals is so fulfilling.
